Terms of Service
Effective · Version 2026-10-09
In short: you must be 13 or older to use Postplant, and 18 or have a parent's permission to buy a plan. Anyone with the link can open a match page, and each match adds to the profiles of everyone who played in it. Polar takes the payments, and plans renew monthly until you cancel. Postplant isn't affiliated with Valve or FACEIT. The full terms below are what count.
1. About these terms
Postplant is a website for reviewing Counter-Strike 2 matches. It turns demo files into 2D replays, stats and player profiles. One person runs it: Anthony Loukinas, operating Postplant, Ohio, United States. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that person, and "Postplant" means the website, the game servers you start through it, and the systems behind them.
By making an account or using Postplant, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Postplant.
2. Who can use Postplant
You must be at least 13 years old to make an account. If the law where you live sets a higher age for using online services without a parent's consent, you need that consent too.
To buy a paid plan, you must be 18, or have a parent's or guardian's permission.
One account belongs to one person. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and don't share, sell or give away your account. You are responsible for what happens on it. If you think someone else got in, write to support@postplant.org.
3. Your matches and who can see them
When you upload a demo, or let us fetch your matches from Steam or FACEIT, we turn it into a match page with a replay and stats. A demo records every player in the match, and that decides who can see the result:
- Anyone who has the link to a match page can open it, signed in or not.
- Each player's stats from the match show on their Postplant profile, which is also open to anyone with its link. That includes players who have never signed up.
- If you add a match to a team, the members of that team can see it.
Only upload demos you have the right to share.
4. What you add
You keep whatever rights you have in what you upload or write, such as demos, team names, notes, drawings and strategies. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it where Postplant shows it, for as long as it is on Postplant.
Don't post anything illegal, hateful, or that you don't have the right to share. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
5. Using Postplant fairly
Don't use Postplant, or the game servers you start through it, to:
- make, test or sell cheats, or break the rules of CS2, Steam or FACEIT;
- scrape or copy data from the site in bulk, or get around limits we set;
- get into accounts, servers or data that aren't yours, or attack or overload the service;
- harass other people;
- upload files that aren't CS2 demos, or files made to harm our systems.
If you do, we may remove content, limit your account or close it. You can ask us to look at the decision again by writing to support@postplant.org.
6. Your right to use Postplant
We give you a personal right to use Postplant for yourself and your team. You can't pass that right on to anyone else. Postplant's code, design and name stay ours. Don't copy, resell or rebuild the service.
We keep working on Postplant, so features may change, move to a different plan or go away. The changelog lists what changed.
7. Paid plans
Postplant has a free plan and paid plans. The pricing page lists what each plan includes and what it costs.
Polar (polar.sh) sells our plans for us as the merchant of record. When you buy, you pay Polar, and Polar handles the payment, sales tax or VAT, and invoices. Polar's buyer terms cover the payment. These terms are the supplier agreement those buyer terms refer to, and they cover what you get and how you may use it.
- Plans are billed monthly and renew each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep the plan until the end of the month you paid for.
- A Team plan covers one team. The person who buys it controls it, and it stays with that team.
- Free weeks, redeem codes and other free access have no cash value and can't be exchanged for money.
- If you reverse a payment through your bank or card provider, we may suspend the plan while the dispute is open.
The Refund Policy explains how to cancel and when you can get money back.
8. Valve, FACEIT and trademarks
Postplant is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve or FACEIT. Counter-Strike, CS2 and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation. FACEIT and ESEA are trademarks of their owners. When you use Steam or FACEIT through Postplant, their own terms apply to that use as well.
If you own rights in something on Postplant and want it taken down, write to support@postplant.org. Tell us what the material is, where it appears, what right you hold, and how we can reach you.
9. No guarantees
Postplant is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. A demo may fail to parse, a stat may be wrong, and the site may go down. We don't promise that Postplant is free of bugs, always available, or suited to any particular purpose.
10. Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit.
11. Closing your account
You can stop using Postplant at any time. A way to delete your account from Settings is on its way. Until then, write to support@postplant.org from the email address on your account and the operator will delete it by hand. If you signed up with Steam or FACEIT, write with your SteamID or your FACEIT nickname instead, and we may ask you to show that the account is yours. If you have a paid plan, cancel it first.
Deleting your account removes your sign-in details, your linked accounts, your follows and your settings. Matches stay, because they belong to every player in them, but we remove the link to your account from the matches you played in. If you own a team, the team and everything in it are deleted too, so ask us to make another member the owner first if it should carry on. Strategies you made are deleted on every team. The Privacy Policy has the details, including what is not deleted yet.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we ever shut Postplant down, we will tell you first and refund the part of a paid month you could not use.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version will have a new date at the top of this page. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect, and we may ask you to agree again before you keep using Postplant.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. If you live somewhere that gives you consumer rights these terms can't take away, you keep them.
